  1. For non-anonymous access, c-client should do .newsrc-style
  2. preservation of \SEEN state.  You proabably don't want to use .newsrc
  3. itself in order to avoid interaction with netnews systems.

  5. Other flags (except \RECENT) are associated with the bboard and should
  6. only be manipulated if the user has write access to the bboard (and
  7. only if you want to deal with the locking issues)

  9. The "don't want /usr/spool/bboard to be exported to anonymous" issue
  10. is just an instance of the ACL problem.

  12. I hate the "/" naming convention.  What's wrong with scanning the
  13. netnews driver first, followed by the bezerk and tenex drivers?
